Rapid Deployable Solutions
A C21V solution adjusts by community and location. But in general, we follow the implementation model outlined below. Phases can be compressed or extended as required, and with appropriate staff numbers we can complete multiple villages concurrently.
Phase 1: Visit (disaster) area post stabilization to determine project scope, confirm best renewables combination, select logistics and material suppliers and work with local leadership to finalize reconstruction designs and identify community members for C21V training. ( 3 months )
Phase 2: Local community approves final village design concurrent with C21V training. Note that village plans vary on their size, dome and renewables mix and communication requirements. C21V finalizes purchasing, logistics and related administrative activities. Training commences. ( 3 months+ )
Phase 3: Community training continues during dome construction and renewables deployment. C21V mentors. After training qualification and completion of first village, trained community members can commence independent (re)construction of other affected villages. ( 6+ months ).
Subsequent Phase. Once a community is re-established and with new skills (domes, renewable energy and communications systems), ‘grow domes’ can be introduced. These are larger domes and are proven for agricultural purposes with intent to provide the community with cyclone/typhoon, earthquake, seasonal and fireproof facilities in which to grow, store and potentially process their own (vegetable and protein) food for ‘food security’, ensuring resiliency during and after a future natural disaster.
